Law office DE BOEL, who directs the office, was called to the Bar in 1974 and has been a member of the Antwerp Bar Association ever since. He now has his own practice after having been a partner in a law firm for a number of years. During his long career he has gained experience in most fields of the law, both at the bar and on the bench. We can help you sort out all your private and business problems of a legal nature, even international ones.

As many of our clients have an international background, we have had a lot of experience with problems that result from cross-border trade, traffic and migration.

We represent the interests of foreign legal expenses insurance companies and their policyholders, and we collaborate on a routine basis with a number of Scandinavian embassies and their trade delegations. The office is an active member of several international associations, such as the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwalt Verein) and their Arbeitsgemeinschaft Internationaler Rechtsverkehr (Study group on international judicial matters), the Belgian-German Lawyers' Association and the German-Nordic Lawyers' Association. We are part of a far reaching network of collaborating foreign law offices.

These international connections, with especially Germany, Scandinavia, and Central and East Europe, enable us to advise and assist our domestic clients in their international ventures.

Our correspondence is conducted not only in the official languages of Belgium, i.e. Dutch and French, but also in English, German, Swedish and Danish. But even documents in Norwegian, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese may be sent to us without prior translation.

We can also provide certified translations from and into Swedish.
